Custom Outdoor Privacy Screen Installation

What started as a wide-open patio corner quickly became one of the homeowner’s favorite spots to relax thanks to a simple but thoughtful upgrade.

They came to us with a clear idea: create a bit more privacy without making the space feel closed off. Nothing bulky. Nothing too bold. Just something clean and modern that would blend in with their Guelph home, hold up to Ontario weather, and make the patio feel a little more like a retreat.

We designed this custom patio privacy screen using pressure treated wood, spacing the horizontal slats just right to keep things light and airy. The frame and base were reinforced for stability, making sure it would last through every season. To finish it off, we chose a soft, neutral color that matched the home’s brick, and added a metal art piece to give it a bit of personality.

It’s not a huge structure but it made a big impact. That once exposed corner now feels tucked away and comfortable, perfect for morning coffee or winding down in the evening. This custom carpentry project created just the kind of space the homeowners had in mind.
